After a week of solo exploration around San Francisco, Diarrhea Planet and Left & Right rolled into the city, playing a stellar show at the Independent. I jumped in the van with camera bag and backpack in tow the following morning, joining the boys for the journey down to Los Angeles.
We cruised along the Pacific Coast Highway with the most stunning views of the ocean from up in the cliffs as we rolled into Santa Cruz. Immediately hit the boardwalk, took a thrill ride on the wooden rollercoaster, strolled along the beach, and shoveled mouthwatering burritos into our bellies. The boys slayed the Catalyst, and come morning, we were bound for Los Angeles for a show at The Echo with best buddies Lovely Bad Things. A sold out show, packed to the brim with friendly faces, new and old, from all corners of the country. Few things more satisfying.
